Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fly my drone

The best way to learn how to fly a drone is by practicing. Drones are more stable than regular aircraft but it takes practice to become proficient. For beginners, we recommend practicing indoors or close to home.

When learning how to fly a drone, you'll need to master three basic skills. These are hovering, landing, and taking off.

Take Off

To take off, simply lift the drone into the sky. To do this, press the button on the controller until the drone starts moving upward. Once the drone is at a certain height stop pressing the button.

Hovering

Hovering refers to keeping the drone in midair. Holding down either the left or right triggers while pressing the throttle will allow you to hover. You can move the drone by tilting the controller by holding down both triggers.

Landing

Landing is returning the drone safely back to earth. Release the throttle and turn the controller toward the ground to land. The drone will eventually slow down, and then land.

If you feel confident flying your drone, then take it outside. But be careful not to crash into anything.

Can drone photography make you money?

For photographers trying to make money with drones, the biggest problem is that there aren’t any products that can solve the problems associated with them. This makes it less fun to fly drones if the equipment and software are not of high quality.

Photographers also need to consider liability and insurance. Many photographers will choose to shoot from the ground. However, there is an entirely new way to take pictures that can potentially earn you a commission.

Drones are very much like video cameras in how they capture light. So why not use the same technology to create amazing photos?

Companies have already made great strides to create photo-quality images from above. We've already talked about DJI and GoPro. We are starting to see more companies entering the space.

These cameras are great for ground photography even though they were made for aerial photography. Every major manufacturer is investing heavily in the development and maintenance of their imaging technologies.

This means you will eventually be able purchase a drone that can shoot 4K videos and take amazing photos. This is possible. DJI has been releasing higher-resolution versions for their Phantom series drones.

DJI has just released the Inspire 2 with a 12-megapixel sensor that can shoot at 5120x3456 pixels. If you prefer to shoot in RAW format you can capture 8-bit files at 30 frames a second.

So yes, you can make money off of drone photos.

What is the best drone for photography?

Drones are an exciting technology used in various ways, from aerial photography to filming movies and even delivering packages. But what is it that makes drones such a useful tool? Drones are very popular because of two main reasons. Firstly, they are incredibly versatile tools. There are thousands of ways to use drones. This means you can use them to do almost any type of task you normally use a camera for. They are also easy to operate. A quadcopter is very simple to operate if it has been flown before.

Drones are also great because they can capture amazing images. Amazing photos can be captured by drones in places you would not normally visit. These include remote areas in which you could be put in danger.

Drones can be operated quickly and are easy to use. Once you know the basics, you can fly your drone anywhere and shoot amazing photos. You can check out our drone line if this interests you.

Which drones can carry DSLRs?

Drones have become more practical for everyday tasks. Already drones equipped with cameras can take aerial photographs.

But even though drones have been around for years, most people haven't used them much because they aren't practical. Drones are often too expensive, noisy and difficult to control.

We created the Drone-A1. It's the first quadcopter fully autonomous in the world, specifically designed for photographers.

The Drone-A1 has an HD camera which can capture stunning photos and video. Thanks to its powerful onboard processor, the Drone-A1 is able to follow a subject with no human intervention.

This allows you to focus solely on the capture of great images, while Drone-A1 does all the flying, hovering and following your subject.

Smart Follow makes it easy to get amazing shots using the Drone-A1. Point the Drone-A1 towards your subject, and it will automatically track him or her and keep the distance between the two of you constantly.

With the Drone-A1, you'll enjoy freedom and convenience when shooting. No longer will you need to worry about having a steady hand or knowing exactly where your subject is going.

The Drone- A1 has a GPS integrated that allows you and your family to share your pictures. You can share your pictures with anyone around the globe.

The Drone-A 1 is ideal for professionals and hobbyists who love to take pictures.

How much money do drone photographers make?

A photographer can make more than $10k per gig, depending on how much time he/she travels and where he/she photographs. If you shoot in remote areas such as national parks or forests, you could earn upwards of $20-30 an hour.

The average person earns between $15-$25 an hour working in retail, which means you could earn $50-$75 flying drones if you wanted to. There are other opportunities to make more. Many drone pilots work for companies that require them fly across the country and even internationally.

It is possible to charge $100 to $300 per flight depending on how many miles you cover and how much time you spent flying. This can add up quickly, but if you enjoy flying and love photography, it may be worth it for you.

What are the advantages of drone photography?

Drone photography offers a unique way to capture photos and video. But there are also downsides when choosing to fly a small aircraft.

Drone flying is expensive. You can spend hundreds, thousands or even millions depending on the drone you choose.

You will need to be certified and trained to fly a drone.

Another downside is safety. Drones are inherently dangerous because they require constant maintenance and repair. A drone that is not controlled properly can cause serious injury to someone or damage property.

You might find that you spend more time operating a drone than actually capturing photographs or recording footage. A drone can be difficult to fly because of limited airspace.

You may be restricted by local governments as to where your unmanned aerial vehicle can fly. For example, you can not fly above 400ft or within five mile of any local airports, stadiums and hospitals.

Finally, drones aren't for everyone. These machines can cause anxiety for some people who fear that they may crash or fall from the skies. Others are concerned that they may accidentally hit someone or something else.

If you don't feel comfortable flying a helicopter, you may want to stick with traditional aerial photography and videography techniques.

How To

Why are drones flown at night?

Drones are used by night-flyers for two reasons.

The curiosity aspect is why most people fly drones at night, they enjoy watching the world go by. However, drones can also be flown at night to capture photos of the city landscape.

This is urban photography. Drone enthusiasts are increasingly embracing it.

Photographing at night has many benefits, including capturing more detail and better lighting conditions.

Photographers prefer to shoot at night, to avoid the limitations of photography during the day.

These benefits make urban photography attractive, but people fly drones at night to capture stunning nighttime scenes.

They love the way the lights look when the sun goes down. Many people now post videos of themselves flying drones at midnight and upload them online.

Although the drone technology isn't the most advanced, the quality imagery is stunning.

It's easy to do without any special equipment. You only need a smartphone camera.

It's okay if you don’t have a smartphone. There are many high-quality cameras on the market that can be used to create amazing drone videos.

If you're looking to purchase a DSLR camera, you'll find that some models offer night vision capabilities.

Canon's EOS 5D Mark III camera comes with an infrared LED system, which allows it to see even in low light conditions.

Additional manufacturers include Olympus and Pentax as well as Sony, Nikon, Olympus and Pentax.

But not all smartphones can capture drone footage.

iPhones can't use their front-facing camera for aerial footage, so they cannot. They must instead rely on the dual rear cameras of the iPhone 8 Plus.

After you've chosen what camera you'd prefer, you can decide where you want your video to be shot.

You could opt to film your drone footage using a fixed location, or you could choose to follow your subject instead.

When filming your drone footage, you should ensure that your subject is visible in the frame. You should aim your drone at your subject.

This range should not limit your ability to achieve great results.

Remember that the closer you are with your subject, the sharper the details of your drone footage.

Try to make your subject move as fast as you can.

Now that you're able to take aerial footage, let us talk about how we can edit it.
