Located in the northernmost municipality in Finland next to the river Teno, which is the border between Finland and Norway.

In the winter, northern lights season here in Utsjoki is from the end of August to about mid April. In the summer you can see the midnight sun shining. It means that literally the sun does not set at all. It begins in mid May and lasts until the end of July.
