I am Ukrainian. My country has been invaded by Russia. In this video, I will tell you what happened on the seven-hundred-thirty-seven day of the war.

Day 737: Mar 01

Today, there are a lot of updates from the Orikhiv direction.

Here, Russian forces decided to conduct a sudden offensive operation right after the recent capture of Avdiivka, and according to the latest updates, the intensity of attacks here remains very high. The main idea behind the sudden offensive was to catch Ukrainian forces off guard because they. They expected Ukrainians to relocate a portion of their garrison from this direction to Avdiivka to stabilize the front line.

The most intense clashes are taking place in and around Robotyne. Russian forces opened two vectors of attack and are assaulting Ukrainian positions on the outskirts of Robotyne from the south and the southwest. These are also the most fortified areas around the village because Ukrainians are in control of extensive trench networks, and even though these fortifications incurred notable damage during almost nine months of fighting in the area, they still serve as formidable obstacles.

Last time, we saw how these obstacles helped repel a series of major mechanized attacks, where Russians used up to 30 tanks and, armored vehicles, and hundreds of soldiers. The destroyed units were scattered throughout the region, with the survivors even reaching the first houses in the village in an attempt to seek shelter. This is important because even though the isolated remnants of the Russian forces, who were also virtually with no ammo, were quickly captured by Ukrainians, Russian media sources presented it as a victory. Such premature declarations of victory guarantee that the Russian commanders will order to conduct another wave of attack as soon as possible to catch up with the narrative. Otherwise, if they fail to catch up with the narrative and the media sources have to roll back and say that Russians actually lost the newly captured positions, it will throw shade on the Russian commanders. That is why Russian forces launched a new wave of attacks.

The next major attack came from the south, and based on the geolocated combat footage, Russian forces used multiple armored fighting vehicles that were carrying several dozens of soldiers. The armored fighting vehicles were actively suppressing Ukrainian fire while trying to get as deep into the village as possible to deploy the infantry near more intact houses than on the outskirts. The analysts concluded that such a coordinated Russian attack took Ukrainians by surprise, which is why they did not manage to stop Russians as usual on the approaches and had to engage in urban fighting. Russian sources reported that Russian infantry assumed their positions in the local school and continued trying to develop their attack further. Despite the heavy pressure from the Russian infantry, whose attacks were supported by constant artillery fire, Ukrainian forces managed to retain control over the northern half of the village and break the Russian momentum. Once the momentum was stopped, Ukrainians started conducting counterattacks to reestablish control over the southern part of the village. Even though Russian sources claimed that the attack was successful, referring to the footage of the initial breakthrough, Ukrainian sources claimed that the Russian attack failed and posted videos showing destroyed equipment and personnel and also lone survivors who were seeking shelter.

To be fair, the Ukrainians barely managed to retain control over their positions.

The Russian commanders, who were observing the battle from drones, understood that this attack significantly undermined the Ukrainian defensive capabilities and started planning the night attack.

As it turned out, after Ukrainians evacuated the wounded, there were only four fighters left on the positions. They anticipated receiving reinforcements within hours, however, the Russian attack came much sooner.

As the insane footage of the night battle reveals, these four Ukrainian fighters accepted the battle against three armored fighting vehicles and twenty-four soldiers.

The Russian assault unit started incurring losses already on the approach, as one of their armored vehicles blew up on a mine. One of the four Ukrainian fighters immediately doubled the damage by hitting the second armored vehicle from an RPG. Only the third armored fighting vehicle managed to reach the planned destination and landed the infantry in front of the Ukrainian positions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What equipment do you need to take drone photos?

Drone photography goes beyond just using a drone to take pictures. Planning and executing a successful drone shoot requires a lot of considerations. It all starts with choosing the right place and determining how much insurance is required to make an aerial shoot a success.

It is essential to make sure you have permission to fly drones within the area you are planning to shoot. You should check to see if there are restrictions on where and how you can fly your drone. If restrictions exist, you will need to apply a license to fly the drones in those areas.

You should also check which regulations are in place in your particular country. You may need a permit to fly drones in some countries. Others limit the number you can make in a given time period.

You will need permission to fly drones. After each flight, you will also need to locate a safe place to land the drone. Many local businesses offer landing pads to rent for a fee. You will also get storage space. You could also buy a landing pad.

Before you even begin shooting, you'll need to decide what drone you'd like to use. Different drones have different capabilities and features. Fixed-wing drones, for example, are less expensive and more controllable, while multirotor drones, on the other hand, are more powerful and stable.

Once you decide which type of drone is best for you, the next step is to determine what equipment you will need. The equipment required to operate a drone camera includes a remote controller and gimbal as well as batteries and memory cards.

A gimbal stabilizes the camera during flight, making it easy to capture sharp images without worrying about shaking hands or dropping the device. To keep the camera stable, the gimbal attaches directly on the drone's body.

Remote controllers let you control your drone remotely. These devices come with joysticks as well as buttons that allow the drone to be moved forward, backward, left, right, or left. You can also adjust its altitude.

The drone's motors are powered by batteries, and the cameras have memory cards that store images taken by the drone. A sufficient amount of battery life is necessary to ensure clear images are taken by the drone.

After selecting the equipment you will require, you will need to determine where you will be shooting. Do you plan to take photos outdoors or indoors? Do you plan to shoot architecture or landscapes? What kind of places are you going to be shooting? All of these factors impact how you should prepare for your shoot.

If you plan to shoot indoors, lighting is an important consideration. Multiple lights are the best way of lighting a room. Try placing one large light above the subject, another near the middle, and a third closer to the floor.

Wind conditions are an important consideration when you are outdoors. Drone pilots can be blown off-course by windy days. It is best to take off only when it is calm.

Consider whether additional equipment such as stands or tripods is necessary when you select your location. These items will keep your drone stable and allow you to capture high quality images.

Outdoor shoots should be done between 10 and 4 pm. Although there won’t be as many people around at this time, it will still provide enough light for stunning photos.

The conclusion is that drone photography can be more than fun. You can create amazing images by following a few simple steps.

What are the laws governing drone photography?

Drone flights can be regulated by Federal Aviation Administration. Local laws might also apply to drone flight operations. To find out which drone flight rules apply to your state, check with the transportation department.

The FAA requires drone owners to obtain a license in almost all cases. The FAA has set forth guidelines for licensing. These guidelines are available for more information.

Drone operators in some states must register their drones to the government. Check out our Guide to Drone Registration for more information.

Which time of the day is best to take drone photos?

A drone could capture aerial images during sunrise and sunset hours when there isn't much activity on the ground.

Drones are great tools for capturing beautiful photos of landscapes and the sky above them. However, drones may not be allowed to fly at nights so you will miss out on some spectacular views.

To ensure you don't miss out on any potential photo ops, consider flying during sunrise and sunset hours. These times are more conducive to stunning photos of nature, as there are less cars on the road and less people walking about.

Also, you'll find yourself shooting at lower light levels. This makes it easier to capture images without worrying about overexposing them.

Furthermore, you don't have to worry about strong winds or rain, snow, fog, or freezing temperatures. These factors make daylight perfect for shooting photos with a drone.

If you are looking for night scenes to capture, then flying at night is a good option. This will give you a unique perspective of the cityscape below.

Which drone can you use for aerial photography?

There are two options for aerial photography. Either rent a small, remote-controlled helicopter or purchase an expensive camera kit with a stabilizing gimbal.

This option is great for filming a video or film as it allows you to control the look of your shots. The second option will require you to pay more for the pilot and make you more dependent on him.

What happens when you want to make sure that your shot looks flawless even though it's not your camera? That's where drones come in.

A drone is a small aircraft that can fly autonomously and take photos or video without any input from the operator.

They're extremely versatile and fly close to buildings and structures to capture images or record footage. They can also fly low above crowds to take pictures of people.

Drones can be used for video and aerial photography. You can also use them to market your business by creating amazing visuals that don't require much manpower or equipment.

To capture incredible imagery, you can place them easily in strategic locations. You can fly them remotely, which makes it easy to operate.

One example is hiring drones for weddings. These drone-flying wedding photographers can capture stunning photographs of the bride or groom from above the ceremony area.

They can also fly them over to guests and capture portraits of loved ones. Or they can fly them over reception areas to capture beautiful views of the venue.

These activities can be used to create promotional material and event coverage. You can also make short films with drones. To show clients why you are better than theirs, you could use one.

For all these reasons, drones are becoming increasingly popular for aerial photography and videography. So, if you're looking to become a professional photographer, then a drone might be the answer to your prayers.

How do I fly my drone

It takes practice to fly a drone. Drones are more stable than regular aircraft but it takes practice to become proficient. We recommend that beginners practice indoors or near their home.

There are three essential skills that you need to know in order to fly a Drone. These skills include hovering, taking off and landing.

Take Off

You simply lift the drone up into the air by taking off. Press the button on your controller to cause the drone to move upwards. When the drone has reached a certain height you can stop pressing the button.

Hovering

Hovering is a way to keep the drone still in midair. To hover, press and hold the left or the right triggers. The drone can be tilted by pressing the throttle and both triggers.

Landing

Landing refers to returning the drone safely to Earth. To land, release the throttle. Then tilt the controller toward the ground. The drone will slow down and eventually land.

How To

What is the best distance for a drone to fly?

The best distance for a drone to travel is when it becomes an extension or part of you. You lose sight of the drone's physical boundaries when you view it as an independent entity.

A good distance for a drone allows you to immerse yourself in the environment without worrying about where the drone is going next.

A close approach to the ground can also have psychological benefits. It allows us to have more control over our surroundings and helps us feel closer with nature.

There is also a downside. Flying near the ground means we are exposed to wind and weather conditions that could damage the drone. How far can you fly from the ground?

It depends on the drone type you have. If you are trying to film a landscape or capture aerial footage, a good rule of thumb is to stay at least 500 feet above the ground.

If you're shooting a cityscape, for example, it might be advisable to keep the distance at 1,000 feet. This allows you to avoid blocking your view by trees and other buildings.

Because drones struggle in low-light conditions, this is why. Lowering the altitude can help reduce hover time in dark conditions.

Also, make sure that there is no obstruction such as traffic signs, power lines, or tall buildings in the area you're flying.

You might also consider flying during the daylight rather than at night. This helps you avoid reflections caused by street lights and shadows.

Also, consider the size and weight of the drone. The closer the drone is to the ground, the greater its size. A large quadcopter for example requires a height of at least 300 feet.

For great drone footage, look for the golden hour.

This is the period between 3 pm and 6 pm. This time you will have the most visibility from direct overhead sunshine.

It's also known to be the "magic hour," and is ideal for capturing beautiful images.

Avoid flying drones at sunrise and sunset. These times can result in poor quality footage.

Now you know how to make incredible drone videos.
