First day of California Landscape Photography could have end bad and cut my trip short, but good thing I have quick reflexes... lol. Always take your time and watch your step. Only takes one miss step to turn a great of photography into a bad one.

Title: Danger of Landscape Photography: Almost Ended Trip Early
Sourced From: www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMq88Ad6JsM
You've got check out the 3 most popular drones on Amazon while they're on sale
The drone could capture aerial photos during sunrise and dusk hours, when there isn’t much activity on earth.
Drones make great tools for photographing beautiful landscapes and the skies above them. But sometimes drones aren't allowed to fly at night, so you miss out on spectacular views.
Take advantage of the sunrise and sunset hours to capture great photo opportunities. These times allow for stunning shots of nature and are often more popular because there are fewer cars on roads and fewer people.
It will also be easier to photograph in low light levels.
In addition, you won't have to deal with strong winds, rain, snow, or fog. All these factors make daylight ideal for taking photos with a drone.
But, if you wish to capture nighttime scenes, flying during the moonlit nights is an option. This will allow you to see the cityscape from a different perspective.
Photographers trying to make a living from drones face the greatest problem: there aren’t many products available that can solve the problems of flying them. This makes it less fun to fly drones if the equipment and software are not of high quality.
Also, you need to be aware of liability and insurance issues. This is why most photographers opt to take photos from the ground. But we're talking about an entirely new way of capturing images where you could potentially get paid for your efforts.
Drones can capture light very much in the same way as video cameras. Why not create stunning photos using the same technology?
Companies are already making great strides toward creating photo-quality images taken from above. We have already discussed DJI & GoPro. However, more companies are entering the space.
These cameras are not only great for aerial photography, but they also work well on the ground. Every major manufacturer is investing heavily in the development and maintenance of their imaging technologies.
This means you can eventually buy a drone which shoots 4K videos, and takes amazing photographs. This is possible. DJI and other companies have released higher resolution versions of their Phantom drones.
DJI just released the Inspire 2 camera, which has a 12-megapixel sensor and can capture images at 5120 x 35656 pixels. You can also shoot 8-bit RAW files at 30 frames/second if you wish.
You can indeed make money selling drone photos.
You need to practice flying a drone. Pilots need to practice flying drones. They are far more stable than regular aircraft. For beginners, we recommend practicing indoors or close to home.
Three skills are necessary to learn how to fly a drone. These are taking off, hovering and landing.
Take Off
To take off, simply lift the drone into the sky. Press the button on your controller to cause the drone to move upwards. Once the drone is at a certain height stop pressing the button.
Hovering
Hovering allows the drone to stay in mid-air. Hold down the right or left trigger and press the throttle to hover. You can move the drone by tilting the controller by holding down both triggers.
Landing
Landing is the act of returning the drone safely to earth. To land, release the throttle. Then tilt the controller toward the ground. The drone will slow down and eventually land.
Fly your drone as comfortable as possible. But be careful not to crash into anything.
A good distance for a drone is when it becomes an extension of yourself. The drone becomes an extension of you and you lose sight its physical boundaries.
A drone that is able to fly at a reasonable distance will allow you to be fully immersed in the surrounding environment without worrying about its next destination.
It also has psychological benefits. It gives us a feeling of control over the environment and allows us to feel more connected to nature.
However, there are also some drawbacks. We are more likely to get wind and weather conditions from flying close to the ground than we are from flying further away. This could cause damage to the drone. How far can you fly from the ground?
It all depends on what type of drone you're flying. If you are trying to film a landscape or capture aerial footage, a good rule of thumb is to stay at least 500 feet above the ground.
You might keep your cityscape at 1,000 feet if you're filming it. This way, you can avoid buildings and trees that would otherwise block your view.
Low-light conditions are a problem for drones. If you are flying in the dark, you can reduce the time you spend hovering by lowering the altitude.
You should also ensure that the area where you fly is free from obstructions such as traffic signs or power lines.
You may also want to consider flying during the day instead of at night. This prevents reflections from streetlights and shadows.
Also, consider the size and weight of the drone. The drone must be at least 300 feet from the ground, so the larger it is, the more space it will need. A large quadcopter, for example, requires a minimum height requirement of 300 feet.
If you're looking for amazing drone footage, make sure to look for the golden hours.
This is when you have maximum visibility between 3pm-6pm. This is the time when you have maximum visibility because of direct overhead sunlight.
It's also known to be the "magic hour," and is ideal for capturing beautiful images.
You should not fly your drone between sunset and sunrise. These times can result in poor quality footage.
You now have all the information you need to make amazing drone videos.
