As a club photographer for a professional football club in England, matchdays can be pretty long as games take place up and down the length of England. This video gives an insight into the day in the life of a professional sports photographer photographer, although thankfully this match was only around one hour journey from where I live.
If you want to get into photography or you want to know how to photograph professional football, hopefully this gives you sight of what goes into a typical day.
I’ve included some point of view footage so you can see what I’m shooting and have made sure to include lots of shots as and when they were taken.
