SpaceX just Announced the next Starship launch date!
Elon Musk has just revealed that SpaceX is planning to launch its gigantic Starship rocket into orbit for the second time in a few weeks.
The first attempt ended in a spectacular explosion that sent debris raining down on Texas. But Musk is not deterred by this minor setback.
He confidently tweeted "6 to 8 weeks" as the new timeframe for the next launch.
Is he serious? Can he pull it off? Or is he just trolling us all?
Find out in today's episode of Alpha Tech!
SpaceX tried to send this big boy to orbit on April 20, but it went boom in the sky. No one was on board, luckily. The Starship rocket was supposed to be the next big thing for space travel, but it turned out to be a big firework instead. SpaceX said it was because of a "rapid unscheduled disassembly” before stage separation. That's a fancy way of saying it blew up.
Musk considered Starship’s first orbital test a success and said in April the SpaceX team “learned a lot for [the] next test launch in a few months.”
"Major launchpad upgrades should be complete in about a month, then another month of rocket testing on pad, then flight 2 of Starship," he said on May 26.
However, Musk is feeling adventurous. He just gave us a new timeline for Starship's orbital flight, saying it could happen in six weeks, or maybe eight weeks, depending on his mood. That means we could see his giant rocket zooming around the Earth by late July or mid-August. How exciting!

You've got check out the 3 highest-rated drones on Amazon in 2022
Drones have many uses, from aerial photography to filming movies or delivering packages. But what makes drones such useful tool? Drones have two main advantages. They are versatile tools. There are thousands of uses for drones. Drones can be used to perform almost every type of task that a camera is capable of. Second, they are extremely easy to operate. Quadcopter flying is easy if your experience with quadcopters is good.
Amazing images can also be captured by drones. The drone can take amazing photos of places you may not usually visit. These include remote areas where you could potentially fall into dangerous situations.
Drones require very little skill to operate. Once you know the basics, you can fly your drone anywhere and shoot amazing photos. Check out our drone collection if you want to take better photographs.
When there's not much activity on ground, a drone can capture aerial images at sunrise and sunset.
Drones are great for taking beautiful photos of landscapes as well as the sky. But sometimes drones aren't allowed to fly at night, so you miss out on spectacular views.
If you want to make sure that you capture all the photo opportunities, fly during sunset and sunrise hours. These times provide more opportunities to capture stunning shots of nature because there are usually fewer cars on the road and fewer people walking around.
It will also be easier to photograph in low light levels.
In addition, you won't have to deal with strong winds, rain, snow, or fog. All these factors make daylight ideal for taking photos with a drone.
Consider flying at night if you want to capture nighttime scenes. This will give you a unique perspective of the cityscape below.
The best way to learn how to fly a drone is by practicing. Drones are more stable than regular aircraft but it takes practice to become proficient. We recommend that beginners practice indoors or near their home.
To fly a drone you will need to have three fundamental skills. These are taking off, hovering and landing.
Taking Off
You simply lift the drone up into the air by taking off. To do this, press the button on the controller until the drone starts moving upward. Once the drone reaches a certain height, stop pushing the button.
Hovering
Hovering is a way to keep the drone still in midair. Holding down either the left or right triggers while pressing the throttle will allow you to hover. By holding down both triggers, you can tilt the drone to move it.
Landing
Landing means returning the drone to earth safely. To land, let go of the throttle and gently tilt the controller towards the ground. The drone will eventually slow down, and then land.
If you feel comfortable flying your drone, take it out of the house. However, be careful not crash into anything.
Drones are a great tool for aerial photography. They are incredibly useful for recording video footage and capturing images from above. They are useful when taking measurements and surveying land.
These devices are used frequently for commercial purposes, such as mapping large areas of land or inspecting construction sites. There are many uses for these devices beyond their business purposes.
Drones provide entertainment value for friends and families. You have many options to fly these machines, and even explore new areas. Drones are great for photographing and recording special events and celebrations.
The sky is the limit with drones. These amazing tools can be used to your advantage. Continue reading for more information.
You have two choices if your goal is to fly. Either rent a small, remote-controlled helicopter or purchase an expensive camera kit with a stabilizing gimbal.
The first option is great for those who plan to film a video or film. It gives you full control over the final shots. The second option requires you to pay more and be dependent on the pilot.
What happens when you want to make sure that your shot looks flawless even though it's not your camera? Drones are the answer.
A drone can be described as a tiny, unmanned aircraft that can fly independently and take photos and videos without being directed by its operator.
They are extremely versatile and can fly very close to buildings to capture images and record footage. They can also fly low over crowds to capture pictures of people.
Drones are incredibly useful for aerial photography and videography. These drones can also be great for marketing as they enable you to create breathtaking visuals that would otherwise need a lot less manpower and equipment.
To capture incredible imagery, you can place them easily in strategic locations. Plus, they can be flown remotely, which makes them easy to operate.
One example is hiring drones for weddings. These wedding photographers can fly their drones above the ceremony area while capturing amazing photographs of the bride and groom.
They can also fly them to family members to take portraits. They can also fly them over reception areas, capturing beautiful views of your venue.
These activities are perfect for promotional material and event coverage. Drones can also be used for short films. One could be used to demonstrate to clients that your company is superior.
For all these reasons, drones are becoming increasingly popular for aerial photography and videography. A drone could be your answer to professional photography.
Drone photography allows you to capture stunning images and video. You should be aware of the potential downsides of flying a small aircraft.
The biggest disadvantage of flying drones are their cost. It all depends on what type of drone you choose. You could end up spending hundreds of thousands or even thousands.
A drone pilot must be trained and certified. This means that you will need to invest your time and money in order to learn how to safely fly them.
Safety is another downside. Drones can be dangerous as they need to be repaired and maintained constantly. You could inflict serious injury or property damage if you lose control of your drone when taking photos or filming videos.
You may find yourself spending more time flying your drone than you do actually taking photographs or recording footage. You may also have restricted airspace in which you can fly your drone.
You may be restricted by local governments as to where your unmanned aerial vehicle can fly. For example, you can not fly above 400ft or within five mile of any local airports, stadiums and hospitals.
Finally, drones aren't for everyone. Some people feel uneasy about flying these machines because they fear they might crash or fall out of the sky. Others worry that they might accidentally hit another person or object.
If you are not confident flying a drone, you can stick with traditional aerial photography methods and videography instead.
