If you’ve kept up with the recent bill to make Daylight Savings Time permanent, you may be surprised to know that Arizona is way ahead of the country on this matter. Most people don’t understand this weird tradition of changing the clocks a couple of times a year, and most believe it’s to help the farmers. Climate of Arizona. The Basin and Range region has the arid and semiarid subtropical climate that attracts most winter visitors and new residents.
