This week I’m in Fuerteventura (one of the Canary Islands) for both some aerial drone and landscape photography in the dunes, high in the mountains and along the coast.
Starting on the coast with three images, the first, a simple almost minimal shot of the lifeguard hut and buoy.
And then the classic overhead looking down composition of the incoming waves on a section of pristine untouched wet sandy beach
The third a coastal composition looking straight up the beach , with the image leading you up to the mountain in the distance.
Like a Scalextric track seen from high above the next image composed using the black vein of the arterial route making its way through the scene flanked on either side by the contrasting golden sandy dunes
Another minimalistic style shot again taken over the roadway picking out a section in between the road signs at either end of the image.
Next in the the twilight hour , rising up above the volcanic rock laden dunes, an alien landscape image at sunset.
High above the sand , with the low directional light from the setting sun, I really liked the contrast in light and shadow in the shapes and undulations in the dunes so I took the drone down and headed low across the scene for one more image
Next it was a steep winding drive up into the hills to a stunning vantage point giving views across terraces; orchards ; old agricultural buildings; rock outcrops; valleys and ravines.
Arid hills, basalt lava flows and volcanic mountain remains also stretched out across the vista reminiscent of a prehistoric era.
My channel aims to inspire you to get outside, enjoy nature, the countryside and the great outdoors. Hopefully you will be encouraged to take a few images along the way - if you have enjoyed this video please consider subscribing to enjoy future episodes.

Check out the 3 best drones on Amazon while they're on sale
Drones are a fascinating technology that can be used in many ways. They can be used to take aerial photos, make movies, or even deliver packages. But what is it that makes drones such a useful tool? Drones have two main advantages. Firstly, they are incredibly versatile tools. There are many uses for drones. These drones can be used to perform nearly any task you use a conventional camera for. Secondly, they are very easy to operate. Quadcopter flying is easy if your experience with quadcopters is good.
Drones are also great because they can capture amazing images. You can take stunning photos from places you wouldn’t normally go with a drone. These are remote areas that could lead to dangerous situations.
Drones require very little skill to operate. After you have mastered the basics, your drone can be used to take amazing photos no matter where you are. You can check out our drone line if this interests you.
A drone could capture images from the air during sunset and sunrise hours, even though there is not much activity at ground level.
Drones are great tools for capturing beautiful photos of landscapes and the sky above them. You might not be able to capture spectacular night views because drones are not allowed to fly at night.
You can capture amazing photos by flying between sunrise and sunset. You have more chances to capture breathtaking shots of nature during these times because there are fewer cars driving and fewer people around.
Also, you'll find yourself shooting at lower light levels. This makes it easier to capture images without worrying about overexposing them.
In addition, you won't have to deal with strong winds, rain, snow, or fog. All of these factors make daylight perfect to take photos with drones.
If you are looking for night scenes to capture, then flying at night is a good option. This will allow you to see the cityscape from a different perspective.
If you are serious about owning your business, then you will soon realize that a great product is vital. If you're going to put yourself out there, you better ensure you've got a killer product.
The problem with most photographers is that they're not selling themselves. Instead of selling their products, they are trying to persuade others to buy them.
If you are running your own company, it won't make sense to wait around for others. You'll have to go out and find customers right now.
This means you need to tell your customers compelling reasons why they should purchase your products.
You'll also need to come up with an effective strategy for marketing those products. Even if you do all of that, it's possible to fail because you don't know how to correctly price your products.
It is possible to decide to charge too high. You might decide to charge too much. You could be charging too much or you might make a mistake.
This will help you avoid making costly mistakes. It doesn't mean that you should become a capitalist. What it means is that you must learn how to value your time, money, and effort.
You must also develop strategies to measure the success of your company.
Once you've got a handle on pricing, you can finally focus on building the best possible product. It should be a product that can make sense creatively and financially.
A product that solves your problems and gives you real benefits.
One that is different from all others.
Once you've finished building the product, launch it. You'll also be ready to build your brand.
So whether or not you want to take pictures with a drone, you'll want to consider getting one. It will make it easier to start your career as a photographer. It will allow you to enhance your skills. It will also help to expand your business.
