! After I made this video our experts along with the Department of Civil Protection have decided to evacuate Grindavík as the magma dyke is potentially right under the town, although it's more likely an eruption will occur in a safer place to the north leaving Grindavík intact, but we're not taking any chances !

Hello everybody!

Since 7AM today earthquake activity on the Reykjanes peninsula in Iceland has increased drastically and continues to do so.

Over 100 earthquakes greater than 3M have been detected which is absolutely insane.

The earthquakes have been so strong that the road leading from Grindavík to the main road, Keflavíkur vegur has been closed due to damage.

Following this increase in earthquake activity, Iceland's Civil defense has declared a level of danger and is, along with experts, paying really close attention to
the activity.

This earthquake spike is most likely due to magma moving somewhere under the center of activity but this is not the same spot as in previous weeks.

Wherever the magma is, this activity suggests it's moving rapidly, most likely upwards, meaning an eruption could occur at any time now.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which drone should a beginner buy?

It is easy to fly a drone, and the best drones for beginners. These drones are equipped with an "FPV" camera which allows the user to control the drone remotely via a smartphone app.

Some quadcopters are specifically made for aerial photography. You may choose a multirotor if your goal is to explore advanced features such an autonomous flight mode or obstacle avoidance.

Two types of drones can be distinguished in terms of their price: those that are cheap at $100 or more and those that are expensive at $300.

The cheapest models typically have a limited range or battery life. The most expensive models, however, offer greater performance and longer flight time.

The majority of beginners prefer to start with the cheaper options, as they are more easy to use and manage. If you intend to fly your drone for hours, however, you might consider buying a more expensive model.

How much money do drone photographers make?

A photographer can make more than $10k per gig, depending on how much time he/she travels and where he/she photographs. For those who shoot in remote locations such as forests and national parks, the hourly rate could be between $20-30.

The average person earns between $15-$25 an hour working in retail, which means you could earn $50-$75 flying drones if you wanted to. There are other opportunities to make more. Many drone pilots work for companies that require them fly across the country and even internationally.

Depending on how long you fly and how far you travel, you can expect to pay $100-$300 per flight. You might find it worthwhile if flying is something you enjoy and you also love taking photos.

What equipment do you need to take drone photos?

Drone photography involves more than simply flying a camera. You need to think about many things when planning and executing a drone photography shoot. From choosing the right location to determining how much insurance you need to carry out a successful aerial shoot.

It is essential to make sure you have permission to fly drones within the area you are planning to shoot. You should check to see if there are restrictions on where and how you can fly your drone. If there are, you might have to apply for a permit to fly them in the area.

It is important that you check your country's regulations. Some countries require permits to fly drones, while others limit the number of flights you can make within a set period.

In addition to obtaining permission to fly drones, you'll need to find somewhere safe and secure to land your drone after each flight. You can rent a landing spot from local businesses for around $10 per hour. Also, you will have storage space. You could also buy a landing pad.

Before you start shooting, it is important to determine what kind of drone you would like to use. There are many drones with different capabilities and features. For example, fixed-wing drones tend to cost less and are easier to control, whereas multirotor drones are more powerful and stable.

After deciding what kind of drone you want to use, you'll need to choose what equipment you'll need. A drone camera usually consists of a gimbal, remote controller, batteries, and memory cards.

The camera is stabilized by the gimbal during flight. To keep the camera stable, the gimbal attaches directly on the drone's body.

Remote controllers enable you to pilot your drone remotely. These devices have buttons and joysticks that allow you control your drone from afar.

The drone's motors, cameras and memory cards power their batteries. They also store the photos that the drone has taken. A sufficient amount of battery life is necessary to ensure clear images are taken by the drone.

Once you've chosen the equipment that you need, it's time to plan where you want to shoot. Do you plan to take photos outdoors or indoors? Will you be photographing architecture or landscapes in your home? What are you planning to shoot? All of these factors affect how you'll need to prepare for your shoot.

If you are planning on shooting inside, lighting will be an issue. Multiple lights can be used to brighten a room. One large light should be placed above the subject, one near the middle and another closer to the floor.

When outdoors, wind conditions are important. Windy days can cause problems for drone pilots because they can get blown off course. You should always take off only when the weather is calm.

You should consider whether you need additional equipment when selecting your location. These items will allow you to keep your drone level so that you don't lose high-quality shots.

Outdoor shoots should be done between 10 and 4 pm. During this time, there won't be too many people around, but there will still be enough light to create great photos.

The conclusion is that drone photography can be more than fun. By following some simple steps, you can start creating amazing images today!

How To

How to create a Time Lapse with a Drone

Time-lapses can be made with two types of cameras: DSLRs (Digital Single Lens Reflex), and which are more expensive than point-and shoot digital cameras.

Due to the way light enters the camera, DSLR cameras tend to produce better-quality images. However, video requires manual focus and exposure settings.

It is easier for beginners to use point and shoot cameras such as those made of GoPro. Videos can look grainy due to the lower resolution.

A consumer drone makes the best time-lapse camera. These small flying robots make a great alternative to expensive professional drones.

A drone is a remote control aircraft that flies autonomously without human intervention. A drone typically uses a single propeller to fly, although quadcopter drones may have multiple propellers.

In addition to providing aerial footage, a drone can capture cinematic shots from a bird's eye view. To capture smooth handheld footage, drones can be outfitted with a stabilizer.

To create a time-lapse, start recording while the drone hovers above your subject. If there is no direct sunlight overhead, the sky will appear darker during the shot.

To achieve the desired effect, you can adjust the aperture and shutter speed. You could, for instance, set the shutter speed to 30 seconds when you're shooting a sunset and leave the aperture wide open so that as much natural light is allowed in.

For night shots, the opposite approach would be taken. To reduce light entering the camera's sensor, set the shutter speed at 1 second. This creates bright images where details can be clearly seen.
