Welcome to my Iceland travel photography vlog, where I embark on an awe-inspiring journey through the captivating landscapes of Southern Iceland. Join me as I explore the hidden gems and iconic locations.

I discover Southern Iceland's natural wonders, from cascading waterfalls and mystical glaciers to dramatic black sand beaches and enchanting geothermal areas.

The highlight of the trip was a once-in-a-lifetime aeroplane ride over the glacial rivers - a truly spectacular experience! In the video, I also visit some amazing locations including the J枚kuls谩rl贸n glacier lagoon, the volcanic black sand beaches of Reynisfjara and the Sk贸gafoss waterfall.

The second adventurous activity we did was snorkelling at Silfra - the only place in the world where you can dive or snorkel directly in a crack between two tectonic plates.

Our visit ended with a relaxing visit to the Sky Lagoon thermal bath.

I hope you enjoy the video and you learn some tips so you can get the most out of your visit to Iceland.

Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more content from my travels around the world!

Here are the 3 best drones on Amazon while they're on sale

Frequently Asked Questions

Which time of the day is best to take drone photos?

When there's not much activity on ground, a drone can capture aerial images at sunrise and sunset.

Drones are great for taking beautiful photos of landscapes as well as the sky. You might not be able to capture spectacular night views because drones are not allowed to fly at night.

Take advantage of the sunrise and sunset hours to capture great photo opportunities. You have more chances to capture breathtaking shots of nature during these times because there are fewer cars driving and fewer people around.

You will find it easier to shoot in low light levels.

Additionally, the drone can withstand strong winds, rain and snow. These are all factors that make daylight great for photography with a drone.

However, if you want to capture some nighttime scenes, consider flying during moonlit nights. This will give you a unique perspective of the cityscape below.

What are some of the cons to using drone photography for your photos?

Drone photography can be a fun way to capture images or video. There are downsides to flying a small plane.

The most obvious disadvantage of flying drones is the cost involved. It can cost hundreds to thousands depending on which drone you buy.

Drone flying requires certification and training. You'll need to spend time and money learning how to safely operate them.

Safety is another problem. Drones are dangerous due to their constant maintenance and repair. It is possible to injure or cause property damage by losing control of your drone while you are taking photos.

You might find that you spend more time operating a drone than actually capturing photographs or recording footage. Your drone might not have enough airspace to fly.

You may be restricted by local governments as to where your unmanned aerial vehicle can fly. For example, you can not fly above 400ft or within five mile of any local airports, stadiums and hospitals.

Drones aren鈥檛 for everyone. Drones can make people nervous because they could crash or fall out from the air. Others fear that they could accidentally hit an object or person.

If you're not comfortable flying a drone, then maybe you should stick to traditional aerial photography and videography methods instead.

Are drone photos a good way to make money?

Photographers trying to make a living from drones face the greatest problem: there aren鈥檛 many products available that can solve the problems of flying them. A lack of quality equipment and software makes the experience enjoyable.

Photographers also need to consider liability and insurance. Many photographers will choose to shoot from the ground. You could get paid for your efforts if you use a totally new method of photographing images.

Drones can capture light very much in the same way as video cameras. You can create incredible photos with the same technology.

Companies are already making great strides toward creating photo-quality images taken from above. We have already discussed DJI & GoPro. Now, we are seeing more companies join the space.

These cameras are great for ground photography even though they were made for aerial photography. All of the major manufacturers are investing heavily in developing their imaging technologies.

This means that you'll eventually be able to buy a drone that shoots 4K videos and takes incredible photographs. This is possible. DJI is one of the companies that has started to release higher-resolution Phantom series drones.

DJI recently released the Inspire 2, which features a 12-megapixel sensor capable of shooting at 5120 x 3456 pixels. The Inspire 2 can also be used to record RAW files at 30 frames/second.

So yes, you can make money off of drone photos.

How To

How can I make my drone pictures look better?

A drone picture is a great way to capture an amazing image. When done right, you can get a stunning result that is even better than any picture taken with your camera.

You can improve the quality of your photos. You can do this by making sure you are using the right settings for your model.

Some tools and apps can help you edit your photos after taking them. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is one example. It allows you to import multiple files and then adjust each shot individually.

You can also crop out and enhance certain parts of your image. This includes changing the lighting and contrast, as well as removing any unwanted objects.

Snapseed offers another editing tool, with basic features like cropping, brightness adjustments and color correction.

Post-processing is important, but it's also crucial to ensure that your final product looks professional.

This involves knowing how your camera works and how to position yourself correctly.

You must also ensure that your lens settings are correct. For example, if shooting landscapes, go for a longer focal point (e.g. 200mm), but if you are shooting close-ups (e.g. 50mm), you can choose a shorter focal.

Learn how to shoot RAW format, which gives you more control over the final image.

Once you've mastered these techniques, you can create stunning drone images that will turn heads.
