Are drone photos a good way to make money?

The biggest problem for any photographer trying to make money off drones is that there aren't any products out there that solve the problems that come with flying them. It's not easy to enjoy the experience if you don't have quality equipment or software.

What should I know about the laws regarding drone photography?

Drone flights can be regulated by Federal Aviation Administration. Local laws and regulations may apply, in addition to those of the FAA. To find out which drone flight rules apply to your state, check with the transportation department.

How do I fly my drone?

There are three essential skills that you need to know in order to fly a Drone. These are taking off, hovering, and landing.

Take Off

Simply lift the drone in the air to take off. Press the button on your controller to cause the drone to move upwards. After the drone reaches an appropriate height, release the button.

Hovering

Hovering means keeping the drone steady in midair. Holding down either the left or right triggers while pressing the throttle will allow you to hover. By holding down both triggers, you can tilt the drone to move it.

Landing

Landing is when the drone returns safely to the earth. To land, release the throttle. Then tilt the controller toward the ground. This will cause the drone to slow down and eventually land.

If you feel comfortable flying your drone, take it out of the house. Be careful not to crash into any object.
