‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣ THIS EPISODE ‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣

After a full summer of filming, we left our friends' house outside of Glacier National Park and headed toward Utah for some family time. No matter if you are traveling full time in an RV or you are living in a stationary home, it is always good to assess if family time is a priority or if life has gotten so busy and hectic that you are feeling disconnected from your spouse or your kids. Our life is crazy throughout different parts of the year, so we have to purposefully set times for us to focus on just the 4 of us.

That was the plan as we left Montana - “us time”. We stayed in Panguitch, Utah, at the Paradise RV Park and were able to snag a 7 night cancellation in Bryce National Park. We decided to have a night adventure in Zion National Park before heading into Bryce and were totally blown away by the drive through the park! Even if you don't have time for a hike, take the drive!

We drove through the tunnel, got some dinner and headed back to Canyon Overlook Trailhead for a quick hike and a sunset. Corey got in some night photography as well as a cool night-lapse on the GoPro, and then we carefully hiked back down in the dark!

Stay tuned for next week as we head to Bryce for our longest stay ever in a National Park campground! Be sure to like and subscribe and click on the bell icon for notifications when we release new videos!

Don’t wait to live your life, find your 🔆SOMEDAY🔆 now!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is best drone for photography?

Drones are an exciting technology that can be used for many purposes. These include aerial photography, filming movies, and even delivery of packages. But what makes drones such useful tool? Drones have two main advantages. Drones are extremely versatile. There are many uses for drones. Drones can be used to perform almost every type of task that a camera is capable of. They are also very simple to operate. A quadcopter is very simple to operate if it has been flown before.

Drones also have the ability to capture stunning images. You can take stunning photos from places you wouldn’t normally go with a drone. These photos include remote areas where you might be in dangerous situations.

Drones can be operated quickly and are easy to use. Once you learn the basics, you will be able to use your drone to capture amazing photos from anywhere you happen to be. So if you are interested in taking better photographs, check out our drone range today.

What is the best way to capture drone photography?

Drone photography requires more than just flying a plane. Planning and executing a successful drone shoot requires a lot of considerations. It all starts with choosing the right place and determining how much insurance is required to make an aerial shoot a success.

It is important to check that you have permission for drones to be flown in the area where you intend to shoot. This involves finding out if there are restrictions regarding where you can fly or where your drone can be operated. If restrictions exist, you will need to apply a license to fly the drones in those areas.

It is important that you check your country's regulations. Some countries require drone pilot permits, while others restrict the number of flights that can be made within a certain time frame.

A drone pilot license is required. You'll also need to find a safe and secure place to land your drone after every flight. Local businesses will often offer landing pads for rent at a nominal fee. They also provide storage space and an hourly rate. Alternatively, you could buy a dedicated landing pad.

Before you can even start shooting, you need to choose the drone that you want to use. Different drones have different capabilities and features. For example, fixed-wing drones tend to cost less and are easier to control, whereas multirotor drones are more powerful and stable.

You will first have to decide on the type of drone that you want. Then, you need to decide what equipment you need. The drone camera typically comprises a gimbal with remote controller, batteries, batteries and memory cards.

Gimbals are used to stabilize the camera when it's in flight. They make it possible to take sharp pictures without worrying about the device falling or being shaken. The drone's body attaches to the gimbal to ensure that the camera stays steady.

Remote controllers permit you to control your drone remotely. These controllers have joysticks and buttons, which allow you to control the drone's direction, speed, direction, and altitude.

The drone's motors, cameras and memory cards power their batteries. They also store the photos that the drone has taken. You will need to ensure enough battery life so that your drone can take clear photos.

Once you've selected the equipment you'll need, you'll need to figure out where you'll shoot. Is it indoors or outdoor? Will you be photographing architecture or landscapes in your home? What kind of places are you going to be shooting? All these factors influence the way you need to prepare for your shoot.

You'll need to consider lighting if you're planning to shoot inside. The best way to light a room is by using multiple lights. Place one large light near the subject, another near it, and yet another close to the floor.

You need to take into account wind conditions when outdoors. Windy days can cause problems for drone pilots because they can get blown off course. Avoid taking off during stormy weather.

You should consider whether you need additional equipment when selecting your location. These items will keep your drone stable and allow you to capture high quality images.

Outdoor shoots can be done between 10 AM and 4 PM. Although there won’t be as many people around at this time, it will still provide enough light for stunning photos.

Let's conclude that drone photography is more than just fun. It can also be extremely useful for taking stunning aerial photos. You can create amazing images by following a few simple steps.

How can I fly my drone safely?

Flying a drone requires practice. Pilots need to practice flying drones. They are far more stable than regular aircraft. We recommend that beginners practice indoors or near their home.

Three skills are necessary to learn how to fly a drone. These are hovering, landing, and taking off.

Take Off

You simply lift the drone up into the air by taking off. The button on the controller should be pressed until the drone moves upward. After the drone reaches an appropriate height, release the button.

Hovering

Hovering refers to keeping the drone in midair. To hover, hold down the right or left trigger while pressing on the throttle. To tilt the drone, hold down both triggers and press the throttle.

Landing

Landing refers to returning the drone safely to Earth. To land, release your throttle and tilt the controller down toward the ground. The drone will slow down and eventually land.

Fly your drone as comfortable as possible. You must be careful not that your drone crashes into anything.

Is it permissible to fly drones at night?

Drones are becoming more popular every day. Drones not only provide incredible aerial shots of homes and businesses but also allow for the delivery of goods and surveillance of large areas. There are very few regulations regarding drone use. Some states in America have banned drones completely, while others have put restrictions on their operation.

Drone flying in daylight hours is quite safe. But, at night there are risks. The safety of you and other pilots is at risk when flying drones at night. It is difficult to spot obstacles or hazards so mistakes by the pilot could result in an accident.

Drones have become increasingly popular. We need to be able to safely use them. There are two main types currently: fixed-wing or rotary-wing drones. Fixed-wing drones are generally smaller and easier to control compared to rotary-wing models. A fixed-wing model usually has four propellers, whereas a rotary-wing model has a single rotor.

You should be familiarized with all local drone laws to avoid any mishaps. A key safety tip is to make sure your drone has lights that flash green and red. This makes it easier to spot potential threats. Protect your camera lens from damage if you intend to take photos. You should also wear protective goggles if you fly your drone.

Drone flying at night poses several dangers. This includes collisions and damage to power lines, trees, or buildings. Drones also have the potential to become lost, or even fall out of sight. You must ensure your drone is not in danger of being tripped up or falling from the sky. Drones can also be affected by wind gusts or sudden weather changes. These factors could disrupt the drone's flight or cause it to crash into land.

Drones have become increasingly popular, but there are possible health risks. These drones can emit noises that can cause hearing loss and headaches. Additionally, drone vibrations can cause injury to the body. The operator license allows you to fly drones, but it can also lead to legal action and fines.

Follow these guidelines to avoid drone accidents. Keep your drone within your sight line when flying. You must adhere to airport restrictions when flying near airports. Flying your drone over water increases the risk of a collision.

How do you get started with drone photography

There are many options for starting to photograph with a drone. The first is to purchase a ready-made drone set. This kit will contain everything you need for getting started. They vary in price from $200 to $500 depending upon the model.

You can also build your own drone. It's possible to make a drone that takes decent photos and videos, even though it can be complicated.

We recommend that you start with a quadcopter if you want to build your own drone. A quadcopter, like conventional helicopters has four propellers or rotors instead of the usual two.

It is much easier to assemble and maintain a quadcopter than a helicopter. It is also less expensive to buy and easier to transport.

First, select the right components. Motors, batteries and controllers are all required. You should choose the right size and weight.

Next, you will need to choose which type of controller you want. You have many choices, including joysticks and touch screens as well as remote controls. We recommend purchasing one with a built-in camera, so you don't have to attach a separate device to your drone.

Once you've made your selections, you are ready to assemble it. To make things easy, we recommend buying a preassembled kit. If you would prefer to build your drone yourself, there are a few things you need to do.

Step 1 Attach the battery pack

To start building your quadcopter you'll first need to connect it to the motor. First, remove cover plate from bottom of battery pack. After that, slide in the battery.

Step2: Connect your motors

Next, mount the motors to the right slots. Each motor must be placed in the appropriate slot. Install the motors facing forward, perpendicular and in the designated slot.

Step 3: Install the propeller

Finally, you'll need to attach the propellers to the frame. Place them at an equal distance.

Once you have completed all of these steps, your drone is now ready for testing! If you see no movement when you turn on the engine, double-check that the propellers are facing forward. Make sure the propellers are free from obstructions.

Statistics

  • Greater than 50% throttle stick position generates positive thrust, but less than 50% throttle stick position reverses the direction of the motors, allowing upside-down flying! (photographypro.com)
  • Though the Mavic 3 is about 50% heavier than the Mavic Air 2, it's still conveniently sized. (nytimes.com)
  • Again, no stabilization is applied, and the 50% throttle stick position cuts the power to the motors. (photographypro.com)
  • Compared to the old days of the Phantom, this drone is super small, but it will likely require you to check a bag, the way a Mini 3 Pro could easily stow away in an oversized pocket. (thedronegirl.com)
  • Homes with aerial images sold 68% faster than homes with standard images. (alexdronephotography.com)

How To

How to Make a Time-Lapse with a Drone

When making time-lapses, there are two main types of cameras commonly used - DSLRs (Digital Single Lens Reflex), which are generally more expensive than point-and-shoot digital cameras.

DSLR cameras also tend to produce higher-quality images due to the way light enters the lens. However, video requires manual focus and exposure settings.

Beginners will find it easier to use point-and shoot cameras like the GoPro. However, videos with lower resolutions look grainy.

A consumer drone is the best camera to time-lapse. These tiny flying robots are a popular alternative to professional drones.

A drone is a remotely controlled aircraft that can fly autonomously and without human intervention. Quadcopter drones can have multiple propellers, but a drone usually uses one propeller.

Drones can be used to capture cinematic footage from a bird's-eye view. You can equip your drone with a stabiliser to capture smooth handheld footage.

For a time-lapse effect, you can start recording while your drone hovers above the subject. If there is no direct sunlight overhead, the sky will appear darker during the shot.

To achieve the desired effect, you can adjust the aperture and shutter speed. For example, if you're filming a sunset, the shutter speed could be set to 30 seconds while the aperture is wide open to let in as much natural light as possible.

For night shots, the opposite approach would be taken. Use a slow shutter speed of 1 second and close the aperture to reduce the amount of light entering the camera. This technique creates a bright image where details are visible.
