SpaceX is targeting Saturday, November 11 for Falcon 9’s launch of the Transporter-9 mission to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4E (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The 55-minute launch window opens at 10:49 a.m. PT, 17:49 UTC, and 19:47 CET. If needed, there is a backup opportunity Sunday, November 12 with the same window.

The first stage booster supporting this mission previously launched NROL-87, NROL-85, SARah-1, SWOT, Transporter-8, and six Starlink missions. Following stage separation, Falcon 9 will land on Landing Zone 4 (LZ-4) at Vandenberg Space Force Base.

Transporter-9 is SpaceX’s ninth dedicated smallsat rideshare mission. There will be 90 payloads on this flight deployed by Falcon 9, including CubeSats, MicroSats, and orbital transfer vehicles carrying an additional 23 spacecraft to be deployed at a later time.

SpaceX's SmallStat Rideshare Program provides small satellite operators with regularly scheduled, dedicated Falcon 9 rideshare missions to SSO for ESPA (EELV Secondary Payload Adapter) class payloads for as low s $275,000 per mission, which includes up to 50kg of payload mass.

The EELV Secondary Payload Adapter (ESPA) is an adapter for launching secondary payloads on orbital launch vehicles.

Originally developed for US launch vehicles in the 2000s to launch secondary payloads on space missions of the United States Department of Defense that used the Atlas V and Delta IV, the adapter design has become a de facto standard and is now also used for spaceflight missions on non-governmental private spacecraft missions as well. For example, multiple ESPA rings were used on a non-DoD launch of the SpaceX Falcon 9 that carried the Orbcomm OG-2 constellation of communication satellites.

Using ESPA ring technology reduces launch costs for the primary mission and enables secondary and even tertiary missions with minimal impact on the original mission.

The Livestream will start approx 15 minutes before the lift-off.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which drone is best for photography

Drones are a fascinating technology that can be used in many ways. They can be used to take aerial photos, make movies, or even deliver packages. But what is it that makes drones such a useful tool? Drones are now very popular for two reasons. They are versatile and easy to use. There are thousands of uses for drones. Drones can be used to perform almost every type of task that a camera is capable of. Second, they are extremely easy to operate. It is very easy to fly a quadcopter if you have ever flown one.

Amazing images can also be captured by drones. The drone can take amazing photos of places you may not usually visit. These include remote locations where you may be exposed to danger.

Drones have a simple operation, so anyone can fly them. Once you learn the basics, you will be able to use your drone to capture amazing photos from anywhere you happen to be. Check out our drone collection if you want to take better photographs.

What drone should I buy for a beginner?

These drones are great for beginners as they don't require any advanced skills. These drones are equipped with an "FPV" camera which allows the user to control the drone remotely via a smartphone app.

Some quadcopters are specifically made for aerial photography. Multirotor models are better suited for advanced features like obstacle avoidance and autonomous flight mode.

There are two types: the cheap drones that cost less than $100 and the more expensive drones that cost over $300.

The cheapest models often have limited range and battery life. But the best models are more reliable and can fly longer distances.

The majority of beginners prefer to start with the cheaper options, as they are more easy to use and manage. If you intend to fly your drone for hours, however, you might consider buying a more expensive model.

How much money do drone photographers make?

A photographer makes more than $10k per gig depending on how long he/she flies for and where he/she shoots. You could make as much as $20-30 per hour if you are able to shoot in remote areas like national parks and forests.

Retail workers make $15-25 an hour, so you could easily earn $50-$75 flying drones. There are still many ways to make even more. Companies that require drone pilots to fly all over the country or internationally will often hire them.

Prices for flights can range from $100 to $300 depending on the amount of time spent flying and the distance covered. This can add up quickly, but if you enjoy flying and love photography, it may be worth it for you.

How do I get started with drone photography?

There are many ways to get started with drone photography. You can start by buying a drone kit. This kit will contain everything you need for getting started. They can range from $200 to $500 depending on the model.

Other options include building your drone. Although this can be a bit complicated, it's still possible to create something that works well enough to take some decent photos and videos.

A quadcopter is the best choice for anyone who wants to build their own drone. The quadcopter is similar to conventional helicopters but has four rotors (or propellers), instead of just two.

It is much easier to assemble and maintain a quadcopter than a helicopter. You can also purchase it cheaper and carry it around easier.

First, choose the right parts. You will need props, motors, batteries controllers and controllers. Make sure you pick the correct size and weight.

Next, you'll need to decide what controller you'd like to use. Many different types are available, such as joysticks, touch screens, and remote controls. You can attach your drone to the camera with the built-in camera.

After you've selected the right parts, you can begin to assemble the drone. To make things easy, we recommend buying a preassembled kit. However, if you prefer to build your own, you'll need to follow a few steps before assembling your drone.

Step 1 Attach the battery pack

To begin building your quadcopter, connect the battery to the motor. To begin, remove the cover plate at the bottom of your battery pack. Next, slide your battery into place.

Step2: Connect your motors

Next, place the motors in their appropriate slots. Each motor must go into its designated slot. When installing the motors, make sure they face forward and are perpendicular to the frame.

Step 3: Install the propeller

Last, attach the propellers and frame. You should position them at equal distances.

Now it's time to test your new drone. If there is no movement after you turn on your engine, double-check that you have the propellers facing forward. Also, make sure that there are no obstructions between the propellers.

What do you require for drone photography

Drone photography involves more than simply flying a camera. Planning and executing a successful drone shoot requires a lot of considerations. It all starts with choosing the right place and determining how much insurance is required to make an aerial shoot a success.

The most important thing is to ensure you have permission to fly drones in the area you plan to shoot in. This means finding out whether there are any restrictions on where you can fly and where you can operate your drone. If you find that there are restrictions, you might need to apply for a license in order to fly them.

It is important that you check your country's regulations. Some countries require permits to fly drones. Others limit how many flights you can make in a specific time.

Not only will you need permission to fly drones but also where to safely land your drone after each flight. Many local businesses offer landing pads to rent for a fee. You will also get storage space. Another option is to buy a dedicated landing platform.

Before you can even start shooting, you need to choose the drone that you want to use. There are many drones with different capabilities and features. For example, fixed-wing drones tend to cost less and are easier to control, whereas multirotor drones are more powerful and stable.

After deciding what kind of drone you want to use, you'll need to choose what equipment you'll need. The equipment required to operate a drone camera includes a remote controller and gimbal as well as batteries and memory cards.

Gimbals stabilize the camera while it is in flight. This makes it easier to capture sharp images, without having to worry about dropping the device or shaking hands. To ensure the drone stays stable, the gimbal attaches to its body.

Remote controllers make it possible to remotely pilot your drone. These remote controllers include joysticks or buttons that allow you to move your drone forwards, backwards, left, right, and adjust its altitude.

Batteries power the drone's motors and cameras, and memory cards store photos taken by the drone. To ensure that the drone takes clear pictures, you'll need to ensure sufficient battery life.

Once you've decided on the equipment you will need, you can start to plan where to take your photos. Are you going to be shooting indoors or outside? Are you going to photograph architecture or landscapes instead? What kind of places are you going to be shooting? These are all factors that will affect the preparations you make for your shoot.

If you are planning on shooting inside, lighting will be an issue. Multiple lights are the best way of lighting a room. Place one large light near the subject, another near it, and yet another close to the floor.

Wind conditions are an important consideration when you are outdoors. Drone pilots could be affected by windy days, as they can be blown off track. It is best to take off only when it is calm.

Consider whether additional equipment such as stands or tripods is necessary when you select your location. These items will keep your drone stable and allow you to capture high quality images.

An outdoor shoot should be between 10 am to 4 pm. Although there won’t be as many people around at this time, it will still provide enough light for stunning photos.

Drone photography is not only fun, but also extremely useful in capturing breathtaking aerial photos. By following some simple steps, you can start creating amazing images today!

What drone is best for aerial photography?

If you're going to do aerial photography, there are two options. Either buy an expensive camera package with a gimbal stabilizer or rent a small remote-controlled helicopter.

If you are planning to shoot a film or video, the first option is ideal because you have complete control over how your shots look. The second option will require you to pay more for the pilot and make you more dependent on him.

What happens when you want to make sure that your shot looks flawless even though it's not your camera? That's where drones come in.

A drone, a small flying aircraft, can take photos and video by itself without having to be controlled by an operator.

They can fly close enough to buildings or structures to record footage or capture images. They can also fly low in the air over crowds to capture photographs of people.

Drones have incredible capabilities for aerial photography, videography, and other uses. Drones are also great for marketing, as they can be used to create stunning visuals that would otherwise take a lot more manpower and equipment.

You can easily place them in strategic locations to capture stunning imagery. Plus, they can be flown remotely, which makes them easy to operate.

Companies may hire drones for their weddings. These drone pilots can fly over the ceremony area to capture incredible photographs of the groom and bride.

They can also fly them to family members to take portraits. To capture breathtaking views of the venue, they can fly them through reception areas.

These activities are great for event coverage or promotional material. You can also make short films with drones. To show clients why you are better than theirs, you could use one.

These are all reasons drones have become increasingly popular in aerial photography and videography. So, if you're looking to become a professional photographer, then a drone might be the answer to your prayers.

How To

How can I make my drone photographs look better?

It is possible to capture stunning images with a drone. But when you do it right, the result can be even more impressive than any photo taken with a camera.

You can still improve the image quality. One of them is making sure that you use the best settings for your particular model.

There are many apps and tools available that will help you to edit your photos once they have been taken. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is one example. It allows you to import multiple files and then adjust each shot individually.

You can also crop your image and make it more interesting. You can also remove unwanted objects or adjust lighting and contrast.

Snapseed also offers basic editing tools such as cropping or brightness adjustments and color correcting.

Post-processing is important, but it's also crucial to ensure that your final product looks professional.

This involves knowing how your camera works and how to position yourself correctly.

Also, ensure that you select the correct settings for your lens. You might choose a longer focal distance (such as 200mm) if you want to shoot landscapes. If you need to capture close-ups, opt for a shorter focal line (such as 50mm).

You can also learn to shoot in RAW format so you have more control over your final image.

Once you've mastered these techniques, you can create stunning drone images that will turn heads.
