DRONE hand-launching ESSENTIAL tricks! 🔸[BEGINNER DRONE TUTORIAL]

Hello my flying filmmaker friend. I got a ton of requests for some drone hand launching tips. I realized I hand launch about 99.9% of the time so it might be valuable to share what I learned.
In this episode I mention the safety feature DJI added to all their drones where the motors will all shut off when the drone is turned upside down. I found an official DJI statement suggesting we don’t do it frequently because it puts stress on the motors:
DJI STATEMENT:
“However is not advisable to do it very often. The propellers are still running quite fast even and by turning the drone you force the inertia momentum of the propellers. As a result there is a stress on the axes of the motors and although this is certainly not a big issue if you do it a few times (when there is an emergency for example), that could and will increase the wear and tear of the axis. Better landing normally or, if you already like landing on your hand, pull down the propeller’s speed to complete stop instead of turning the drone.”
