Crashed my "GoPro carrying quadcopter" on the second last day of my holiday and buckled up a motor. The quadcopter had been feeling somewhat non-responsive on previous flights. For sure the motors were full of that Outback red dust which may have played some part.
This video contains the test flight of the new motors which I installed on my 5" ImpulseRC Apex frame which are VCI Yuki Edition 2207/2110KV motors. Advertised as a racing motor, I picked these up special several months ago for my freestyle rig. Todays test flight happen to be on a 6S 1300mAh battery and the idle probably does need to be lowered a little. Previous motors on this quad were 2000kv motors.
It has been 6 months since I last had a fly carrying the GoPro. Gonna take some getting used to again after nothing but 3 inchers for 6 months!
It was an absurdly hot day "down by the river" with my mate Lee to be flying quadcopters, but still good fun.... Thanks for watching.
