The Maxima Racing Oils Australia team headed up the coast to Green Park Conondale in Queensland for the 3rd annual Battle in the Bush event presented by @MxstoreAustralia 🔥

As promised by the MXstore team, this year’s event was going to be bigger and better than any other year before and it was one you wouldn’t want to miss! With 2 unreal days of riding and racing across multiple novelty games, and activities on Saturday, camping the night and of course getting ready to line up to race the main events including the 3-hour relay on Sunday.

Saturday kicked off with the novelty events starting with the SBS ‘Go to Woah’ challenge, straight into the Pod Rut Limbo. Then the riders headed to the MiniRacer Pit Bike challenge and finished an epic day of events off with the ALL-NEW and crowd favourite Maxima Dirt Drags.

There is nothing like lining up next to your mate who you made bets you could beat with pure speed or a stranger you hoped you could run side-by-side with and being able to race to the checkered flag as you go head-to-head in a Dirt Drag down the 50m straight for over an hour. 🏁

It was unreal to see bikes of all sizes and riders of all kinds lining up to get in on the action. We had farm bikes, old-school Y2k bikes and even some of the Ladies who were racing on Sunday lined up on their 250’s to have a go and show us what they were capable of. It was a very inclusive event for all.

Spectators were so stoked to be so close to the action, but even more pumped as they were greeted by the friendly Maxima crew handing out free SC1 air fresheners, hats and cans of SC1 goodies to take home as they enjoyed the event.

Safe to say this year’s brand-new Maxima Dirt Drags was an absolute hit and by popular demand will be back for 2025!

Finally as Sunday rolled around, at 12 pm it was time to kick off the well-awaited main event of the weekend and the one everyone had been waiting for, the 3-hour relay!
Racers in their preprepared registered teams in a 2,3 or 4-rider set up, got ready to log as many laps as they could over 3 hours.

Team Maxima got to pick their starting spot first after taking P1 in the footrace on Saturday.
After 3 long hours changing riders and putting in the work, Team Maxima finished victorious taking home the outright win for the weekend.
At the Presentation, they were awarded a novelty cheque, a $1000 Mxstore voucher and a huge bag of Ballard goodies to share amongst the 4 of them.

As the gates closed to Green Park and Battle in the Bush 2024 came to an end, the Maxima team left this unreal weekend even more eager to get back out there and do it all again for 2025! 🤘🏽
