December 16 2022 is the "enforcement" date for part one of the FAA's Remote ID rule in the USA. Any drone or RC plane manufactured after September 16 must have Standard Remote ID fitted and that system must not be easily disabled or tampered with. What does this mean to regular drone and RC flyers?


And an update on the Avata RID behavior in and outside the USA, plus ways to disable (at least partially) the RID system in this drone.
