It means that the object closer you are, the brighter it will appear. This is why objects seem to glow when they are exposed to black light.

How much energy the object absorbs affects how much light is reflected. If light hits an object, it may reflect less red light than more blue.

Blue light is the most sensitive for the human eye. Therefore, objects that are viewed under black lights will look more blue.

So what does this have to do with drones? If you want to photograph something dark like a forest or cave, you will need a very bright source of light.

A standard lamp will not provide enough illumination to illuminate the whole scene. You will get a shadowed image, nothing more.

If you want to get a great picture, you will need a flashgun. And since you don't want to carry around a huge flashgun, you'll need to buy a small one.

These lights are known as speedlights because they produce flashes of light so fast that they create a stroboscopic effect.

If we say "stroboscopic", you can see the light pulse across the screen. The better the quality of the image, the faster it is.

We won’t talk about how to setup a Speedlight. But you can find many tutorials online.

We will tell that it is important to have a bright and even lighting source in order to capture clear images.

The beam should be aimed at a 45° angle in order to achieve this. You can adjust intensity by moving the flashgun head.

And that's true - but it's also true for daytime pictures.

The camera will always record darker images regardless of whether you are taking photos at dawn and dusk.

How do I fly my drone?

It takes practice to fly a drone. Although drones are much more stable than regular aircraft, pilots still need to get experience. Practice indoors or at home is the best option for beginners.

Three skills are necessary to learn how to fly a drone. These are hovering, takingoff, and landing.

Take Off

The drone will take off by simply being lifted into the air. Press the button on your controller to cause the drone to move upwards. Once the drone reaches a certain height, stop pushing the button.

Hovering

Quadcopters are the best option for those looking to build their drone. As found on conventional helicopters, a quadcopter has four rotors (or propellers) instead of two.

It is much easier to assemble and maintain a quadcopter than a helicopter. It is also easier to transport and purchase.
