Most beginners focus on getting cinematic drone footage, but in today’s episode we talk about why I think storytelling is a more fruitful goal with editing. It’s much harder but substantially more fun & creative than simply pursuing a rich “cinematic” color grade. The editing program I use is LUMAFUSION. It has all the features I need and not a ton of features I don’t use. Editing on LUMAFUSION is incredibly fast & fun. I tried all the popular editing programs like Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro and others. Editing took way too long to complete with those programs because they’re too complicated, designed to accomplish complicated tasks that I’ll never do. Just my opinion based on all my testing.
