Space has long emerged as a strategic battlefield of paramount importance for every nation. The United States is no exception.
No longer confined to battles on land, sea, or air, the 21st century has ushered in an era where control and dominance in outer space have become imperative for national security.
As nations vie for strategic advantage beyond the confines of Earth, the stage is set for a new era of competition and cooperation in the cosmos.
For the US military, the desire for the world's largest spacecraft, Starship, is not new, they have long anticipated the potential and advantages that the spacecraft could bring to their military objectives.
As Starship becomes increasingly refined and proven, the US military is developing bolder plans for its use.
One of these plans involves conducting thousands of SpaceX flights each year.
To achieve this, in addition to requiring SpaceX to prepare a significant amount of hardware, the US military also needs hundreds of Mechazilla launch towers.
All of this is aimed at increasing the presence of military bases launching into space. Remember that when assessing a nation's military strength, not to mention its weapons, military bases are the most important factor determining the country's power.
The US military has about 700-850 military bases around the world.
Large bases, simply referred to as "Bases," are defined as military installations that cover an area larger than 4 hectares (10 acres) or have a value exceeding $10 million. These bases typically accommodate more than 200 US military personnel. Among the US's foreign bases, 439, which accounts for 60 percent, fall under this category.

It takes practice to fly a drone. Pilots need to practice flying drones. They are far more stable than regular aircraft. We recommend that you practice indoors, or close to your house, for beginners.
To fly a drone you will need to have three fundamental skills. These are taking off, hovering and landing.
Take Off
To take off, simply lift the drone into the sky. Press the button on your controller to cause the drone to move upwards. Once the drone reaches a certain height, stop pushing the button.
Hovering
Hovering is a way to keep the drone still in midair. To hover, hold down the left or right trigger while pressing the throttle. You can move the drone by tilting the controller by holding down both triggers.
Landing
Landing means returning the drone to earth safely. Release the throttle and turn the controller toward the ground to land. This will cause the drone's speed to drop and eventually land.
If you feel comfortable flying your drone, take it out of the house. You must be careful not that your drone crashes into anything.

You'll soon be able buy a drone capable of taking incredible photos and 4K video. This could be already happening. DJI is one of the companies that has started to release higher-resolution Phantom series drones.
DJI just released the Inspire 2 camera, which has a 12-megapixel sensor and can capture images at 5120 x 35656 pixels. And if you want to shoot in RAW format, you can record 8-bit files at 30 frames per second.
You can certainly make money from drone photos.
A photographer makes more than $10k per gig depending on how long he/she flies for and where he/she shoots. If you shoot in remote areas such as national parks or forests, you could earn upwards of $20-30 an hour.
An average person makes $15-$25 per hour in retail. This means that you could make $50-$75 flying drones, if you so desired. There are many opportunities to make even more. Most drone pilots fly for companies that require them travel throughout the country, or internationally.
Prices for flights can range from $100 to $300 depending on the amount of time spent flying and the distance covered. It can quickly add up, but if your passion is photography and flying, this may be worth it.
That's the right answer. We've been doing this for many years. We have been taking photos at night for many decades.
There is one catch. Night photography requires special equipment. Any camera under $10k is not capable of night photography.
When light hits an object, it bounces back in a series of wavelengths.
These wavelengths are combined to produce white light at very far distances from their source.
This is why our eyes can see colors even though the sun is millions of miles away.
On the contrary, when light strikes an object close to its source, it reflects in a narrow band of wavelengths. These wavelengths bounce back straight to us, without overlapping.
It means that the object closer you are, the brighter it will appear. This is why objects glow under black light.
How much energy the object absorbs affects how much light is reflected. Therefore, if light hits an object, it might reflect more blue than red light.
The human eye is sensitive to blue light the most so objects appear brighter when viewed in black light.
This has to do with drones. You need a bright light source if you want to photograph dark objects, such as caves or forests.
A normal lamp won't provide enough light to illuminate the entire scene. It will only create a shadowed scene.
A strobe is better for taking great pictures. You won't want to lug around a large flashgun so you will need a smaller one.
These lights are known as speedlights because they produce flashes of light so fast that they create a stroboscopic effect.
You can see the light pulse across your screen when we say "stroboscopic". The higher the speed, the better the picture.
We won’t talk about how to setup a Speedlight. But you can find many tutorials online.
We will tell you to make sure that the subject is properly illuminated in order for a clear photograph.
You should aim the beam at a 45 degree angle to achieve this. You can adjust the light's intensity by moving the flashgun's head.
Once you have set the setting that is right for you, hold the gun steady as the shutter release button is pressed.
Next, close to the subject, release the shutter. This will set off the flashgun to start a second burst.
While the first burst illuminates the subject, the second one will capture the moment after the first burst has passed.
This creates a continuous exposure in which both bursts or light are recorded.
Now that you're comfortable taking photos during the day let's get to night photography.

But there's still one thing left to cover: the color balance.
Most people assume that any images taken at night will look too dark.
And that's true - but it's also true for daytime pictures.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re shooting at dawn or at dusk. The camera will always record a darker shot.

You can also build your own drone. Although this can be a bit complicated, it's still possible to create something that works well enough to take some decent photos and videos.
A quadcopter is the best choice for anyone who wants to build their own drone. A quadcopter, like conventional helicopters has four propellers or rotors instead of the usual two.
A quadcopter can be assembled and maintained in a much shorter time than a helicopter. It's also cheaper to purchase and easier to carry around.
First, you'll need to choose the right parts. You'll need motors, batteries, controllers, and props. Pick the correct size, weight and type.
Next, choose the controller that you want to use. There are many different options, including touch screens, joysticks, and remote controllers. It is recommended to buy one with a builtin camera so that you don't need to attach another device to your drone.
Once you've chosen the right parts, you're ready to assemble your drone. To make things easy, we recommend buying a preassembled kit. But if you want to build your own drone, there are some steps you will need to follow.
Step 1 Attach the battery pack
For your quadcopter to be built, you'll need the battery pack connected to the motor. To start, remove the cover from the battery pack. Next, slide your battery into place.
Step 2 Connect the motors
Next, install the motors into the correct slots. Each motor needs to be installed in its respective slot. Make sure the motors are facing forward when installing them.

A good distance for a drone is when it becomes an extension of yourself. If you start to see the drone as an entity separate from you, it becomes difficult to recognize its physical boundaries.
For drones, a good distance allows you to fully immerse your self in the environment without having to worry about where the drone is going next.
A close approach to the ground can also have psychological benefits. It gives us a sense of control over our surroundings, making us feel more connected with nature.
But there is a downside too. We can damage drones by flying near the ground. How far are you able to fly?
It depends on the drone type you have. You should aim to fly at least 500 feet above the ground if you're trying to capture aerial footage or film landscapes.
You might keep your cityscape at 1,000 feet if you're filming it. This way, you can avoid buildings and trees that would otherwise block your view.
This is because drones tend to struggle with low-light conditions. You can decrease the time spent hovering if you fly in darkness by lowering your altitude.
Make sure there are no obstructions like power lines, traffic signs, tall buildings, etc.
Also, you might consider flying during daylight instead of at nights. This helps you avoid reflections caused by street lights and shadows.
The drone's size is another important consideration. The closer the drone is to the ground, the greater its size. A large quadcopter requires a minimum height limit of 300 feet.
For great drone footage, look for the golden hour.
This is the time between 3 and 6 PM. This time you will have the most visibility from direct overhead sunshine.
It's also known to be the "magic hour," and is ideal for capturing beautiful images.
You should not fly your drone between sunset and sunrise. These times are known to cause poor-quality footage.
