The years largest competition of military team drone racing takes place at the 2025 Avalon International Airshow for selection into the ADF team that will represent Australia at the next Military International Drone Racing Tournament to be held in the USA in May 2025.
This drone racing tournament is one of the ADF's displays held at the Avalon Airshow between March 24th and 30th. The drone racing tournament has been organised by UAS Events with support from local racing communities such as Melbourne Multirotor Racing Club ( and Eastside FPV (
